With over 40 years of experience in international B2B publishing, conferences, and exhibitions, Tony has an unrivalled track record for creating and delivering world-leading international exhibitions and conferences. Tony founded UKi Media & Events in 1991, and in that time the company has become one of the most successful privately owned B2B publishing and events companies in the world. Whilst Tony continues to drive UKi Media & Events to new levels, he also co-founded Smarter Shows in 2009, who have rapidly become internationally recognised as leading B2B event organisers within the energy storage and materials industries.

Mike Robinson

With over 18 years of industry experience, Mike has grown up in the world of international exhibitions and events. Having held several roles at UKi Media & Events, including sales, marketing, and management positions, Mike was responsible for the launch of several B2B magazine titles, conferences, and exhibitions. Most recently he was responsible for launching and developing UKi’s conference division which now covers over 18 highly specialised conferences within the aerospace, autonomous vehicle, industrial vehicle, and maritime technology communities. Mike has a passion for emerging technology, building lasting business relationships, and strives to deliver nothing but excellence across all our events.

Paul has worked in various CFO/FD roles within the publishing and events industry for the last 24 years. Currently he is CFO of UKI Media & Events, a position he has held for 13 years. He has broad experience in leading the finance function within fast growing entrepreneurial led businesses. Paul is a chartered management accountant.
Peter Sarno

After graduating from the University of Surrey with a 2:1 in music, Peter went on to pursue a career in the technology sector. In 2012 he joined one of the world’s largest exhibition and conference organisers and went on to launch successful international exhibitions and conferences, working across a wide variety of different industries. With a strong talent for identifying future technology trends, Peter is responsible for ensuring Trans-Global Events deliver industry leading conferences and exhibitions.

Charlie joined Trans-Global Events in March 2020 as sustainability events director and has been tasked with spearheading exhibition sales and sponsorship on the launches of Hydrogen Technology Conference Expo and Carbon Capture Technology Conference & Expo. Having worked in numerous sales and account management roles over the course of the past five years, it was his keen eye for identifying new revenue opportunities combined with his passion for – and understanding of – sustainability issues and technical innovations that made him an ideal fit for TGE. 

Dave Hunter

Conference Manager

Dave joined Trans-Global Events from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in March 2020. He is an accomplished conference manager and project manager and brings to the company key experience of managing events from end-to-end, including creative content, program development and speaker management for the WTTC Global Summit & Leaders Forums. Having graduated with an MSc in Tourism, Heritage & Sustainability from the University of Glasgow, Dave is a shoo-in candidate for TGE, with his deep-rooted passion for environmental issues. He is currently running the program for Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo and the Carbon Capture Technology Conference & Expo in Stuttgart, 9-10 June 2021, with primary responsibility for the content and style of the conference agendas and producing engaging material to support event marketing campaigns.

Richard joined Trans-Global Events in September 2019 as database marketing manager and is responsible for the company’s overall data strategy as well as defining how data can help the company meet its overall goals. With more than 20 years’ experience managing databases, one of his key attributes lies in identifying ways to gain additional value from data. His track record speaks for itself. Having previously worked in some of the world’s largest events and consulting organisations, his insight in creating high-quality databases has extrapolated to campaigns that have launched countless must-attend conferences and exhibitions globally. 

Nicola Cahill

Operations Manager

Nicola joined Trans-Global Events in September 2019 as our marketing and operations manager and brings to the company a wealth of hands-on experience in event production, marketing strategy and brand development. She boasts more than a decade’s worth of expertise managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of B2C- and B2B-based events and exhibitions in the UK and Europe – know-how that will prove invaluable as one of her major roles for us is to develop TGE’s future events in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Tom joined Trans-Global Events (TGE) in May 2021 as sustainability Events Director and has been tasked with managing exhibition sales and sponsorship on The Greener Manufacturing Show and Plastic Free World. Prior to this he worked for the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) where he held various senior sales roles having an incredibly successful 13 years winning multiple recognition awards along the way.  Tom is extremely passionate about sustainability and making a difference in the world today, and it’s his innovative way of thinking and trusted advisor approach that has seen him hit the ground running at TGE. 

Richard Jende

Marketing Design Manager

Richard joined Trans-Global Events in April 2021.  He is a meticulous graphic designer with over 17 years’ experience working with clients from around the world in specialist air transport events and publishing. He has a thorough grounding in design for print, highly conversant with design for digital media and has worked across many disciplines including: digital and print publishing, brand identity, marketing and advertising, web design, motion graphics, video editing and UX/UI design.
